Our Agency

Vidette has 30 years of service with the U.S. Probation and Pretrial Services Office for the Middle District of
Tennessee. Vidette served as Chief U.S. Probation Officer for a number of years and was instrumental in
establishing the RISE (Realizing Individual Success and Empowerment) Reentry Court. Vidette supervised all
three units comprising the office (Pretrial, Presentence, and Post Conviction). Vidette also served as the
Substance Abuse Specialist and the Mental Health Specialist for the district. Vidette has specialized experience in
writing and reviewing presentence reports and an extensive knowledge of the Federal Sentencing Guidelines.
